Supervision for coaches

An opportunity to share, in confidence, your challenges and get support and direction.

The space to restore, re-energise and develop through having a dialogue that enables you to look at your client practice and business development with a fresh pair of eyes.

Individual Supervision

I approach Supervision as a participative process, a fluid exchange between equals, and make sure that 'normative’, ‘developmental’ and ‘restorative’ aspects are addressed. In my supervision practice I offer you an opportunity to restore, re-energise and develop through encouraging a dialogue that enables you to look at your client practice and business development with a fresh pair of eyes.

Supervision fees for self-funded coaches: £150 per hour or £1050 annual subscription that covers 8 hours of individual supervision a year.

Group Supervision

There are places available in my next supervision group.

The group supervision package is for 4 three hour coaching supervision sessions per year. There will be 4-5 people in the group.

Cost for self-funded coaches: £550 for 12 hours a year.

Being a part of a supervision group is a developmental journey. We need to trust each other so that we feel comfortable to discuss our client issues and business development challenges, as well as to experiment with various coaching techniques in the group. Treating each other from the position of ‘unconditional positive regard’, being prepared to share vulnerabilities, as well as support and challenge each other, goes hand in hand with trust. As a supervisor I would work to encourage trust and commitment in our group, as well as making sure that we are addressing restorative, developmental and normative aspects of supervision.

Testimonials

I started working with Maria in June 2020 and hand on heart, it’s been one of the best investments I have ever made. My intention was to get better as a coach and manage my emotional wellbeing as a coach and also as a parent during the global pandemic. I must say that the benefits of our partnership with Maria have exceeded all my expectations and I’m so happy to continue working with her to elevate my coaching skills and my clients’ experience.

Maria has been supporting me in internalising my strengths and helping me discover and own my originality as a coach. I feel like the restorative element has been extremely valuable in our work together, - I always leave our sessions feeling seen, heard and understood.
What I appreciate most about Maria is that she is a gifted challenger and the quality of attention she offers is outstanding; Every time I’m about to settle into one of my comfort stories, she has that quality of elegantly challenging my narratives about who I think I am.

My ethics as a coach have also improved tremendously over the last 10 months, I was faced with an ethical dilemma with one of my clients in autumn 2020, which I found difficult and quite emotional.

Maria held space for me, helped me think deeply and work through my feelings. She helped me review and raise my ethical standards, and also created conditions for me to reflect and learn from that experience.

Since starting working with Maria last year, I noticed how I’ve become a more present, calm and effective coach, I feel more confident in my coaching skills and more attuned to my needs and understanding of why I do what I do.

I look forward to continuing working with Maria as truly our partnership has been so valuable to me, my family and my clients.

I found the coaching supervision process that I underwent with Maria very effective. She held the space for me to explore my issues with both my clients and my coaching strategies myself, and challenged and gave insightful and thought-provoking input in a very constructive and empathetic manner. Maria’s incisive contributions helped me to stay focused on my coaching supervision objectives and at the same time gave me the space to explore deeply and creativity. Additionally she brought in perspectives I did not surface myself, which were extremely useful. I appreciated the quality of her presence, which apart from anything else was both perceptive and non-intrusive. I really benefited from her firm, fair and friendly persistence with inquiry lines.
